Within the framework of processing of data of 3D-TOF-MR angiography of intracranial arteries in 30 patients also in addition to overall projections by the standard algorithm „maximum intensity projection“ also targeted MIP projections were made. The authors draw attention to the advantages of this procedure in the diagnosis of aneurysms (15 patients, predominant site a. carotis interna) and its importance for more detailed and more reliable visualization of less serious changes of the arterial circulation.
