Souhrn:
The aim of this article is to present the relation between Helicobacter pylori infection and immunological
disorders based on current literature data. The relation has been analysed in patients with MALT lymphoma,
autoimmune diseases and immunodeficiency or on immunosuppressive therapy. H. pylori acting chronically in
the gastric mucosa causes immunological stimulus which may exert systemic effects and influence on some
extra-digestive disorders. The course of the gastric H. pylori infection and extra-digestive manifestations are
associated with both bacterial and host factors determining the immune response against H. pylori.
