Advances achieved in improvement of the quality of life and prolongation of the mean life span of patients with multiple sclerosis is at present mainly due to rehabilitation. In the submitted overview the author presents the main principles of rational rehabilitation treatment in relation to the severity of the pathological process indicating possibilities of remedial rehabilitation in the main symptoms and signs of the disease.
