Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine

The increasing importance of rehabilitation dealing with health impairment, disability and handicap, and the ever greater role of rehabilitation, physical medicine and physiotherapy as the visible alternative to high technology medicine, calls for a journal to address the subject. Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine covers the whole field of medical, vocational and social rehabilitation, physical medicine, myoskeletal (manual) medicine, physiotherapy and ergotherapy as well as orthotics, prosthetics and all disciplines directly or indirectly associated with the rehabilitation process. In other words, it addresses some of the greatest socio-economic problems of modern society. The journal publishes original research papers, articles based on clinical practice, case histories, methods of treatment and questions of public health policy. Much space is devoted to post-graduate training. It therefore aims to attract a wide readership, from general practitioners to specialists, all who are interested in myoskeletal medicine and therapy, physiotherapists, ergotherapists, psychologists, social workers and ergonomists. The editors will consider contributions in other languages than in Czech or Slovak.
