The authors submit a consecutive analysis, covering a two-year period, of patients who suffered a spinal cord injury. They submit a basic epidemiological investigation. The authors evaluated the functional classification using the international ASIA standard. They assessed the effectiveness of treatment with regard to self-sufficiency which was also evaluated using an international standard.
