The author discusses the problem of resources for medical technical equipment, presents its definition and describes the present very complicated state of the market as regards these products. Based on this information and an analysis of possible solutions he submits one of the variants of categorisation of these resources with the objective to make the function of the market more transparent. It should make it possible to introduce an objective and correct system of refunding of health care which uses as a tool products from the category of technical medical equipment.
