The contribution presents the proposal of the conception of the field „Occupational Diseases“ in the version, which was approved by the committee of the Society for Occupational Diseases of the Czech Medical Association of J. E. Purkyně and addressed to the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic for further discussions. The field deals with clinical issues of all diseases, which develop or exist in relation to work.
