Summary: In a 70-year-old female patient with a malignant melanoma operated 21 years ago secondaries
were detected. The original melanoma was located on the leg, it was removed by radical excision and
histologically evaluated as Breslow 1.0 mm. After 21 years in the course of 6 months gradually three
subcutaneous secondaries of a melanoma on the leg and thigh developed. After excisions and
radiotherapy the patient is so far free from complaints and without manifestations of the disease.
