Summary:
The second part the submitted publication focuses on the role of apoptosis in the etiopathogenesis of some
neurodegenerative disorders such as spinal muscular atrophy, mitochondrial encephalomyopathies, neuronal
ceroid lipofuscinosis, ataxia teleangiectasia, Huntington’s disease. Attention is also paid to relations between
apoptosis and epilepsy, Down’s syndrome and some other disorders.
