Summary:

Churg-Strauss syndrome (CSS), allergic granulomatous angiitis, is an uncommon disorder characterized by asthma, hypereosinophilia andsystemic vasculitis. The cause of Churg-Strauss syndrome is unknown, but its characteristic histological findings and association with asthma distinguish it from other vasculitides. Clinical manifestations of this syndrome include most frequently pulmonary, nervous system, cutaneous, gastrointestional and renal diseases. Gastrointestinal manifestations were reported to occur in 32–89% of patients with CSS and severe manifestations were considered to be associated with poor prognosis for systemic vasculitis. We describe a case report of 60 years old woman with CSS, in which during presentation of illness appeared enterorrhagia.

Key words: Churg-Strauss syndrome, eosinophilia, vasculitis, enterorrhagia
