Non-surgical Treatment of Benign Stenosis of a Hepatico-jejunal Anastomosis
Černoch, J.

Chirurgická klinika, Centrální endoskopické pracoviště FNsP, Ostrava, přednosta prof. MUDr. A. Pelikán, DrSc.

Summary:

The authors treated 11 patients with stenosis of the hepatico-jejunal anastomosis and excluded intestinal loop according to Roux by a non-surgical technique. Five patients are completely free from complaints. Four have elevated values of alkaline phosphatase and glutamyltranspeptidase without any other clinical complaints. Two have permanent complaints. Complications of treat- ment were recorded in six patients, all were successfully resolved by a non-surgical approach. The described treatment is evaluated as difficult, successful, with frequent complications. Based on their own experience and data in the literature on non-surgical treatment of iatrogenic injuri- es of the bile ducts the authors express doubts on the indication of hepatico-jejunal anastomosis.

Key words: stenosis of a hepatico-jejunal anastomosis – non-surgical treatment – iatrogenic dama- ge of the bile ducts
