Summary:

       The authors describe an extraordinary complication of a tooth injury. As a result of a fall on a face a fragment of an incisal edge of the first upper right incisor was broken off and a lip was hurt thereby. Five weeks thereafter two incisal edge fragments of the above mentioned tooth were removed from the lip.
