Postvaccination Reaction in an Immunocompromised Child- a Possible Cause of Fever of Un- known Origin in Childhood

Summary:

       The authors present the case report of a 18-month-old child with postvaccination hyperreaction which presented as fever of unknown origin (FUO) lasting 22 days. Authors stress the importance of evaluation of any antigen stimulation - including vaccination in the history of patients with FUO and subsequent immunological investigation.
