Medical ethics, deontology, psychology, and communication are distinct categories that should not be confused although they are closely connected. The article presents a review of basic terms introducing one into medical ethics, and at the same time traces certain problems areas of mutual relations in the filed of dermatovenereology: physician - patient, medical student - patient, and physician - physician.
