Summary:
The article deals with the determination of Michaelis constantKM of enzymes, which show hyperbolic kinetics.
Special attention is paid to exact methods. There were found 5 ways of KM determination including derivation
of corresponding regressive relations during study of various calculations ways. To compare – there are
mentioned Eisenthal and Cornish-Bowden ways of computation in article and also the method of Hanes; with
the help of this method we can find out aprroximate rates that are afterwards made cyclically accurate with the
mentioned methods. The accuracy of computational ways is shown in elaboration of incoming dates taken from
the literature. There are practical reccomendation and critical evaluation of each method at the end of article.
