Summary:

       Professional influences may also be the cause of arthrosis. The most common professional etiological factors are a longterm unilateral excessive overload of a locomotor apparatus of extremities or vibrations locally transmitted on hands at work with vibrating instruments and facilities. For the purpose of acknowledgment of an occupational disease, X ray signs of a degenerative affection of joints have to reach a certain stage according to the Kellgren and Lawrence classification, they have to be accompanied by a serious disorder of the joint function and a significant limitation of working ability.
