Summary:
Authors present the tase-history of an 11-year-old boy with the bilinear (lymphoid and myeloid) form of acute leukaemia. The immature type of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia changes very early in to bilinear acute leukaemia (lymphoid and myeloid) combined with the presence of the pathological hybrid translocation gene bcr/abl Ph Chromosome. Intensive chemotherapy with antracyclines, alkylating agents and epipodophyllotoxins followed by allogeneic bone marrow transplantation led to complete remission lasting 7 months, but did not prevent fatal outcome of the disease.
