The internet is a useful tool for clinical information and communication in otolaryngology. Resources that are available on the Internet are listed and described. Electronic mail (e-mail) is an extremely powerful form of communication and the most frequently used application on the internet. Its most interesting uses in otolaryngology are summarized and a list of useful addresses is given.
