Lichen Amyloidosus: Positive Effect of Acitretin

Summary: We report a case of 28-year-old woman with lichen amyloidosus successfully treated with oral
acitretin in the starting dose of 50 mg/day for 4 months. Basic characteristics of amyloidoses and
classification of cutaneous amyloidoses, review of lichen amyloidosus are reported. Etiopathogenesis,
clinical findings and treatment possibilities are reviewed.
