Cutaneous Changes during Chemotherapy of Haematological Diseases
Cetkovská P., Pizinger K.

Dermatovenerologická klinika LF UK a FN, Plzeň přednosta prof. MUDr. Vladimír Resl, CSc.

Summary:

The authors present a review of typical cutaneous changes which develop in conjunction with chemotherapy of malignant haematological diseases. Cutaneous toxic effects of some chemotherapeutic agents are relatively frequent and their differentiation from other cutaneous manifestations in immunocompromised patients may be difficult. During consultation examinations of haematological patients it is always important to make a differential diagnosis of different causes of cutaneous changes.

Key words: cutaneous toxicity - chemotherapy - acral erythema - eccrine squamous syringometaplasia - radiation reactions - cutaneous eruption of lymphocyte recovery
