The author presents possible surgical approaches in Duane’s syndrome I. The weakening operation of the medial rectus muscle by means of marginal myotomy is recommended in case of striking ocular torticolis. The bifurcation recession of the lateral rectus muscle is recommended in case of change of palpebral fissure. The author documents the indications and the afterurgery results.
