Cicatricial Pemphigoid - a Clinico-Pathological Study of Six Cases

Summary:

       Cicatricial pemphigoid is a subepithelial blistering autoimmune disease affecting the skin and mucous membranes, alone or in combination. Autoantibodies target several different antigens in the basement membrane zone. Six patients with variable clinical features are described. Histological analysis and direct and indirect immunofluorescence studies were done in all patients.
