Relation between Atopic Dermatitis and Psoriasis

Summary:

       The author draws attention to possible transient forms of atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, which show combined features of both concerning their history, age of onset, clinical picture and immune changes. From this point of view the author describes eczematic psoriasis, psoriasiform neurodermitis, hyperkeratotic psoriasis of palms and soles, inverse psoriasis, seborrhoeic psoriasis and palmoplantar pustular psoriasis of Barber and brings out some of their common features. Atopic dermatitis was found either in personal history or concurrently in 4.7% of psoriasis.
