Summary:

The fluoride content of bottled table waters in the Czech Republic (1997 - 1998) was analysed electrochemically. It was found that bottled waters for infants contained not more than 0.1 mg of fluoride per litre similarly as most bottled water suitable for infants. An exception is so called Good Water (Dobrá voda) which contained about 0.7 ppm of fluoride. A detectable fluoride content was found in the Croatian product Radenska (0.3 - 0.6 ppm of fluoride). Regular and exclusive use of the above bottled waters in infant nutrition m odifies the dosage of fluoride supplementation.
