Pánkova R.

Dermatovenerologická klinika 1. LF UK a VFN, Praha přednosta prof. MUDr. Jiří Štork, CSc.

Summary:

Psychodermatology involves many different types of conditions that lie between fields of psychiatry and dermatology. Most psychodermatological conditions can be classified into different categories: psychophy-siological disorders, primary psychiatrie disorders, secondary psychiatrie disorders, and the use of psycho-tropic agents for purely dermatological indications. Psychosomatic aspects are part of psychodermatology based on the biopsychosocial model. International and interdisciplinary cooperation of dermatologists, psy-chiatrists and clinical psychologists interested in psychodermatology háve developed a consensus on the care and management of psychodermatological disorders. It provides a background for using research in the field of ultrastructure of the skin, psychoneuro-endocrino-immulogy, psychopharmacology and psy-chotherapy and develops more comprehensive and humanistic approach to dermatology patients

Key words: psychodermatology - interdisciplinary cooperation - comprehensive dermatology therapy
