Summary: In this case study the development of PSA/free PSA values in a patient with prostatic cancer was described.
Despite of highly developed tumour malignancy the values of free PSA were high (more than 40% of total PSA).
In the random screening (PSA/free PSA ratio without any other information about this patient) these values may
lead to false conclusions.
