Congenital Nasal Anomalies

Summary:

       Nasal anomalies cause due to their variety of forms frequently difficult situations calling for cooperation with neurosurgeon or plastic surgeon. Uncommon congenital anomalies of the nose include nasal aplasia, polyrrhinia, proboscis deformity, medial nasal cleft and lateral nasal cleft. More common anomalies are cleft of the lip and palate, nasal dermoid cysts, nasal glioma and encephalocele, choanal atresia. In the conclusion authors present a case of congenital nasal cysts of the nasal cavities in a newborn.
