The authors present the case of 60 years old female patient on chronic immunosupressive therapy for kidney transplantation with scabies norvegica clinically resembling psoriasis and therefore treated with topical corticosteroids. Histological and microscopical findings confirmed the diagnosis of scabies norvegica. The authors point at diagnostical difficulties of scabies norvegica and stress the necessity of following the suggested treatment guidelines including application of antiscabietics also in the scalp in cases of recurring scabies and in immunosupressed patients.
