Honomichlová P., Pizinger K., Cetkovská P.

Dermatovenerologická klinika FN Plzeň přednosta prof. MUDr. Vladimír Resl, CSc.

Summary:

A 74-year-old woman with history of low-grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma in remission developped skin and mucosal lesions. Based on clinical picture, histopathological and direct immunofluorescence examinations the diagnosis of paraneoplastic pemphigus was established. Systemic therapy with oral corticosteroids combined with immunosuppressive drugs cured the lesions. The paraneoplastic pemphigus is a rare autoimmune bullous disorder characterized by multiple skin and mucosal lesions. It is mostly associated with haematological malignancies, less frequently with solid tumors.

Key words: paraneoplastic pemphigus - non-Hodgkin lymphoma
