Summary:
The authors draw attention toHinman’s syndrome, a lower urinary tract dysfunction, which is not due to overt
neurological disease or anatomical abnormality (non-neurogenic incoordination between detrusor and external
sphincter). This disorder may result except of clinical manifestation such as incontinence also in severe damage of
the kidney and urinary tract. Specific features of the disease, its diagnosis and current treatment is discussed based
on their own experience and data in the literature.
