Roudnická B., Feit J.

Dermatovenerologická klinika FN Brno, přednostka doc. MUDr. Alena Pospíšilová, CSc II. patologicko-anatomický ústav FN Brno přednosta prof. MUDr. Karel Dvořák, DrSc

Summary:

The authors describe the case of a 42-year-old man with refractory itching of the skin persisting for years and the formation of multiple pruriginous papulonodular lesions on the trunk and extremities. In a bioptic specimen from a fully developed lesion the authors revealed in the dermis proliferation of the capillaries with enlarged endothelial cells surrounded by histiocytes, with a small number of lymphocytes and eosinophils. Mitotic activity was not found. Between capillary aggregates agglomerations of fine peripheral nerve fibres were found. The histological finding is consistent with angioendotheliomatosis.
