Summary: The rules proposed for the first and repeated entering into the high risk of noise
environment, in the beginning and also during the reproductive age are based on theFowler’s rating
of hearing threshold.We compare our ruleswith those used inGermany. TheGerman rules are based
on the limit’s of intensity, which are designated by the frequency of tonal audiogram. They are
assigned according to the age of the examined person.
