Summary:

Sexual revictimization can be defined as a human being's repeated experience with the role of a victim of sexual abuse which is committed by different abusers in different situations. The phenomenon of sexual revictimization has been proved on statistic bases, nevertheless in špite of the fact that this phenomenon has been recently recognized by psychologists and psychiatrists there exists no single generally accepted model of a theoretical grasp of sexual revictimization. The study provides the reader not only with statistic data of the phenomenon but also a generál overview of several theoretical models and concepts of this phenomenon.
