The authors present for purposes of postgraduate training graphic documentation (along with a brief commentary) of the most frequently used serum examinations of indirect immunofluorescen- ce used in dermatology. The main emphasis is laid on findings for detection of antinuclear antibodies on the substrate of HEp-2 cells in rheumatic diseases, results of assessment of antiendomysial antibodies, C-ANCA and P-ANCA.
