The authors describe hitherto available knowledge reported in the literature on the treatment of leukoplakia oris. Conservative methods are used. They discuss the effect of beta-carotene, retinol and retinoids. As to vitamins, they mention experience assembled with vitamin C, alpha-tocopherol and a combination of antioxidants.
