Houba R., Zemen J., Drobný J.

Stomatologická klinika LF UK a FN v Plzeň, přednosta doc. MUDr. A. Zicha, CSc.

Summary:

The authors submit preliminary results of their investigation of the possible use of trenexamic acid in the prevention of postextraction haemorrhage in patients taking oral anticoagulants without previous reduction of this treatment. The method seems to be a relatively safe, simple and cheap alternative at a level of antocoagulant treatment up to 3.0 NTP to treatment of the wound by tissue glues.

Key words: Key words: dentistry – tooth extraction – tranexamic acid – fibrin sealant – bleeding – anticoagulant therapy
