They describe the situation in developing and industrial societies and in our country. Author's personal experience about children mandatory seasonal work before the year 1989, are presented. The developmental, somatic and health risk factors associated with child work and possible preventive measures are characterized. Currently among the children who work, the main health problems are injuries, disorders of the locomotive system secondary to overuse and sexually transmitted diseases.
