Summary: Osteoarthritis is the most frequent disease. 33% of population of age higher than 63 years is afflicted
with osteoarthritis. Now the invention of progression of the disease is often discussed to new
treatments. The X-ray film is used for the monitoring in standard, where the weight of articular
cartilage is measured. In this paper authors effort towards to measure the volume of the cartilage.
Complex imaging of joint by MRI also makes it possible to observe other associated findings in
osteoarthritis.
