Together 87 published issues,and so 84 articles in Slovak,Czech or common journals,2 books and one atlas on CD oriented on abdominal ultrasonography from 1981 till 2000 are analysed by authors.36 publications were issued from 1981 till 1990 and 51 publications were issued from 1991 till 2000.The area of nephrologic ultrasonography in newborns and small children contained 8 papers and the one of abdominal ultrasonograp- hy in adults contained 79 papers.The own experiences were reported in 55 publications,as the overview served 24 publications and 8 publications were case reports.The main authors were 27 men and 3 women,e.g. together 30 authors.These authors were divided by the number of publications:14 –Bielik,11 –Kováč,8 – Beňačka,5 –Hromec,Antalík,4 –Goncalvesová,Szántová,Zibolen,3 –Krišlo,Mitacz,2 –Šorf,Nagy,Svitač,1 –Hrušovský,Černák,Valko,Murín,Riečanský,Vadnai,Lutter,černý,Bilický,Vaľko,macek,Slezák,Mistrík, Dobrocký,Zajac,Červeňová,Plenta.2 authors were foreign citiziens – Weill,,Braunschweig,but they published with other Slovak authors and in Slovak Language.
