Summary:
Evaluation of a relatively large group (3172 subjects) in particular as regards agreement of results
of medical examination with the alcohol blood level confirmed the correlation between the beha-
viour of the examined subjects and alcohol. We expected however that the results will be more
unequivocal. It was found that at alcohol blood levels of ca 0.7 g/kg the ratio of examined subjects
who manifest or do not manifest disorders of psychosensorimotor function is roughly balanced.
From this ensues the necessity to pay more attention to medical examination for further use of
the outcome of the examination e.g. for forensic purposes.
Key words:
alcohol blood level - driver - psychosensorimotor functions - post-rotation nystagmus
