Summary: Fixed dentures could be connected to implants by abutments, through tightening of small screws
or cementation. Another option is the direct screw connection without abutments. Dentist should decide which
method of connection is appropriate for a given situation. Knowledge of advantages, disadvantages and limitations
of methods above is important for treatment plan and design of stable and functional denture.
