Report Havlík R., Král V., Utíkal P., Klos D. I. chirurgická klinika LF a FN v Olomouci, přednosta prof. MUDr. V. Král, CSc. |

Summary: Solid papillary neoplasia of the pancreas is a rare tumour that occurs most commonly in young women. This
tumour has low malignant potential and favourable prognosis following surgical resection. Therefore it is
mandatory to distinguish this tumour from other types of pancreatic tumours. The paper reports the case of
a 31-year-old woman with a large solid papillary neoplasia of the head of pancreas where successful pancreatoduodenectomy
was performed.
