Summary:
The present article focuses on the perception of bone marrow transplantation in children as experienced by medical personnel. Applying a thematic analysis of inter-views, the authors identity and examine sources of support drawn upon the medical personnel through the trying times spent at the Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit. Of speciál interest were changes in lifestyles of the medical personnel of the Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit following bone marrow transplantations.
