Summary:
The authors, within the framework of their work on the grant GA ČR „Measuring laboratory for
material research with utilization of synchrotron radiation“, would like to draw attention to
possibilities of application of synchrotron radiation in medicine, especially in radiology. Considering
advantages of this radiation, we can expect its application in medicine very soon, mainly in
mammography.
