Summary:
The authors analyze retrospectively a group of 978 patients with nasal polyposis and
chronic sinusitis reps. who were treated surgically by the endonasal endoscopic technique. A total
of 1585 operations were performed. The analysis is focused on surgical indication, preoperative
preparation, type of anaesthesia, extent and type of operation and postoperative complications.
Short-term and long-term results are evaluated (1-10-year results).
