Summary:
The main goal of the questionnaire was to determine the opinions of patients and generál practitioners (GPs) on the atmosphere and relations between the physician and patient, and to identify the reasons why patients sometimes leave the doctoťs surgery unsatisfied and decide not to keep to the prescribed treatment regime. Here we present the results determining the relationship of patients to pharmacotherapy. The number of different opinions merely confirms the necessity for a systematic approach to the issues raised. Incorporation of these points could help to improve the quality of health care services and increase patient satisfaction at only a minimal cost.
