Summary:
Comorbidity of panic disorders with several affections (prolapse of the mitral valve, asthma, depressi- on) is known. A more detailed analysis reveals association of panic disorders also with other attacks (narcolepsy, epilepsy). The author submits a pathogenetic comparison of panic disorder with migraine. They are both based on the common dysfunction of the serotogenic transmitter system and other clinical attributes.
