Summary:
The technique of endoscopy in present-day neurosurgery has been extended also outside the liquor space of
the brain, especially in the treatment of brain bleeding, brain tumors or after brain injuries. The authors describe
their experience after operating on 45 patients, where the endoscopic intervention has been successfully applied
therapeutically or at least in preparing a final solution by means of microsurgery of radiosurgery. Its has become
obvious that, in addition to the programmed navigation of the endoscope to the goal, a more flexible manipulation
with endoscope while using present stereotactic devices.
