Summary: A rare cause of haemorrhage into the digestive tract in pancreatitis is partial digestion of the
intestinal wall by pancreatic enzymes. The authors discuss the pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy
of this complication on the example of a patient with a tryptic lesion of the colon. At the same time
they detected haemorrhage into pseudocyst of the pancreatic cauda and into the prerenal space.
