Summary: Lipomas in the area of the nasopharynx are very rare. The authors describe the case
of a 68-year-old patient with a lipoma of the nasopharynx. The tumour was removed in parts from
a transoral approach. The patient is now, four years after operation, without signs of relapse of the
tumour.
